Hy-N-Oil is the Arterial Chemical that gives cosmetic completion that is appreciated not only by the discriminating embalmer, but will always be appreciated by the bereaved. The tissue-tinting quality of Hy-N-Oil enables the embalmer to regain the natural undertone that was there before disease, and before the embalmer drained the blood. Because of the hydrophilic (water-loving) property of lanolin, a reserve supply of moisture is present for several days after embalming. Results: The tissues remain lifelike; they are firm without rigidity and there are no wrinkles around the mouth and eyes. Three dyes enter into the formulation. These dyes, in conjunction with lanolin, make external cosmetic application unnecessary on many cases. You get naturalness.

Very little of Hy-N-Oil escapes in the drainage because the tissues absorb it so fast. Low surface tension enables it to invade body fluids completely — in Seconds! Heavy or viscous blood is pushed forward by Hy-N-0il. This means that less injecting pressure is required to displace stubborn blood. Even blood that is in the deep tissues can be removed with ease. But what is of pervasive importance is the fact that Hy-N-Oil, with its high viscosity, prevents excessive gravitation - it stays put. The PH is ideal for tissue jelling as well as cosmetic effect. You get lasting preservation without deterioration.

General Effects:
Gives an excellent cosmetic effect. Contains Lanolin and provides greater tissue emolliency without “under” preservation.

Mixes / Uses
- 8 oz / gallon for normal bodies (90 to 140 lbs women / 130 to 175 lbs men)
- 10 oz to 12 oz for difficult, frozen and emaciated cases
- Not recommended for Edema cases. Jaundice 4 oz/gal.
